FISH - COOKING, CURING & SMOKING
There is no better taste than that of a freshly caught seafood! Here at The Falls Retreat, we operate a ocean to plate philosophy and try to use the freshest of fish on our menus. We also often cure and smoke fish in order to ensure we don’t compromise on quality and flavour and you too can learn how with a few simple tips and tricks. We will cover the basics of cooking fish including curing and smoking and Brad explains the equipment required and shares his recipes for you to recreate at home
Highlights include:
Learn different cooking techniques and tips to get the most out of your catch of the day
Discover Brads tips on how to effectively cure and smoke fish
Learn how to use a home smoker for hot and cold smoking fish
Try it out! Enjoy a selection of seafood accompanied by organic salads using produce from our veggie gardens in this delicious grazing style lunch at our banqueting table.
Time: 10am – 3pm
What to bring: Just yourselves and some enthusiasm!

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL
***This booking payment is non refundable. If customer cancellation is made more than 2 weeks before the event, it can be transferred to an alternative event of same or lesser value ( subject to availability). If cancellation made less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, transfer to a different date/event is not available ( unless we can fill the space). However, we do allow bookings to be transferred to a different person with advance notice
